Special People

I have met some wonderful friends here on the Internet. Many of them I met while chatting on the old Geocities Heartland Front Porch, but alas it is no more. I have recently (Dec 2001) gone through every link that was here to make sure you were directed to the proper page. Unfortunately, some of those pages on longer exist or have moved.

While the word "friend" has many meanings to many people, to me a friend is someone who is there for you through good times and bad, are there to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on whenever you need them. They may not be able to help, but they are there for you just the same. They are encouraging, sometimes blunt, but always there for you. There are three people who have been there for me consistently. Thankfully, I've met them all IRL (n real life). They are extraordinary people and will be lifelong friends. I love the three of you immensely.

We share many interests and are so close we've "adopted" each other as sisters. My kids call her "Aunt Angie"

We've spent lots of time on each other's "counseling" couch

I've known him for over 5 years and can honestly say he's one of the sweetest people on the planet.

My other wonderful friends include :
