Dickerson Park Zoo
This zoo covers 70 acres on the north side of Springfield . Some of the animals residing here include antelopes, cheetahs, alligators, lions, tigers, and Missouri Black bears. Let's not forget the monkeys...and they have their very own island ! Not for the faint of heart, the Dickerson Park Zoo also includes a reptile building, housing....you guessed it--snakes, spiders, and other interesting reptiles.

Located at 3051 N. Fort Avenue, Springfield Mo.
Hours: April -October, 9 am - 6 pm, November 1 - March, 10 am - 4:30 pm.
The Zoo is closed during inclement weather and /or when the pedestrian walks are covered with ice or snow. Admission: Adults $4.00, Children 3-12 $2.50, Seniors $3.25. Group Rates and Friends of the Zoo (FOZ) memberships are available. (417) 864-1800
